Our Mission
Organization for Educational Change (OEC) is a registered youth led non-profitable organization working in order to bring about change in the society through the tool of education. The organization consists of an independent volunteer body of students which has scaled the working capacity of organization from a single idea of a student magazine to the various mega projects being carried out in diverse regions of the Gilgit Baltistan. It is currently working on six projects regarding educational uplift in the far flung areas of Gilgit Baltistan.
The organization has a mission to envision young minds of Gilgit-Baltistan with a notion to opt education as the only way to bring about a positive change in society.
OEC's Vision
To create a society that would be politically democratic, scientifically innovative, socially and culturally integrated and economically prosperous. To achieve this mission and materialize the vision, the team has started with a set of objectives. These are:
- To inspire, guide, finance and highlight the students and youth of society
- To provide a platform for youth studying in different universities to harness their professional skills and to prepare them for practical life. In addition, making them aware about their role to solve problems faced by the society.
- To create a platform where a diverse group of students will work for one cause and to pave a way for creating unity in diversity for peaceful coexistence
