The handicrafts of this region are almost as popular as its scenic beauty. It is said that a visit to Northern paradise of Pakistan divides your life into two parts – before and after Northern Areas visit. Indeed, once you visit this enchanted land, you are never quite the same again. Beautiful landscape, unique cultural heritage, historical palaces and rich biological diversity has given the Gilgit-Baltistan a competitive advantage in attracting tourists from all over the world.

Discover Gilgit-Baltistan is a project of OEC, aimed to introduce the undiscovered sights, the hidden treasures, diversified culture of GB to the outside world by direct involvement of youth. Through this platform we want to give chance to youth to explore their talent by promoting the culture and persuasive beauty of GB which includes opening one region up in every month, so that twelve different areas could be recognized in detail in a year for all of us and the rest. It is our endeavor that we engage the young decision makers of tomorrow in the development decisions of today.
