OEC Junior Wing
Organization for Educational Change has introduced ‘OEC Junior Wing’ in the year 2020. The project aims to bring together young and vibrant high school students and provide them a platform to groom their management and leadership skills through executing various community projects focusing mainly on sustainable development goals (SDGs) throughout the year. Moreover, this project aims to help them in their careers as community service is a requirement for all the emerging universities of Pakistan and abroad.
Objectives:
- To give a platform for the young students to polish their leadership and management skills.
- To provide high school students with the best volunteer opportunities.

Key events 2021:
Book Installation project – The project aims at making the luxury of reading affordable and raising awareness about the Social Corporate Responsibility of business startups across the city.
In the past two years, OEC Junior Wing installed bookshelves at two destinations within Gilgit City.

Essay Writing competition – Team Junior Wing arranged a writing contest for high school students in Gilgit city. The objective of the contest was to raise climate change awareness through engaging students in creative writing.
