The first orientation for the newly appointed volunteers for the term (2020-2021) was finally held on March 8,2020 at Kolachi Restaurant, G-10 Markaz, Islamabad. This first formal interaction between the new appointees was organized in order to brief them about their roles and responsibilities as members of the organization and as the leads of their respective projects and departments. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Erum Fatima, president of OEC and the respectable co-founder of OEC and member of M&A Council Mr. Imran Hunzai. Other significant members of the organization like Ms. Saima Kiran Former Vice-President and current Lead IFL along with the newly appointed leads and selected volunteers attended the session.

The President OEC briefed the audience with an elaborate view of the structure, vision and goals of the projects of the organization for this tenure. She emphasized on how Summer Camps and Educational Expos have been worked upon in the past and how she envisions to improve them now. Mr. Imran Hunzai shared why Educure was not published in the past few years and why it needs great focus. Project leads briefed the audience about their mandates and their plans for this year. The meeting was concluded on a very optimistic note and the president expressed her expectations and hopes for the goals of the organization to be achieved. The meeting therefore proved to be a great opportunity for the members to understand and recognize the essence of volunteerism through the organization’s contribution in the community and to pledge to work with full diligence, commitment and responsibility.
